Aura Skincare – Luxury E-Commerce Redesign

The Challenge

Aura Skincare, an emerging luxury botanical brand, had an incredible product line but an outdated digital storefront. Their existing e-commerce site felt clinical, and their conversion rates were suffering as a result. They needed a brand identity and a website that reflected the premium, organic nature of their ingredients.

Our mandate: Translate the physical feeling of luxury skincare into a digital experience.

The Solution

We completely reimagined the Aura brand from the ground up, starting with typography and color theory.

  • Earthy Elegance: We moved away from stark whites and instead utilized a soft beige and muted earth-tone palette. This immediately grounds the brand and conveys “natural” without using overdone green hues.
  • Elegant Typography: A refined serif font was introduced for headings, giving the brand a timeless, editorial feel.
  • Frictionless E-Commerce: We designed a custom Shopify storefront with an ultra-clean grid layout. The product photography is the hero, and the “Add to Bag” flow was optimized for 1-click purchases.

The Results

Within 30 days of the rebrand and site launch:

  • 112% increase in average order value (AOV) due to a new seamless cross-selling UX.
  • 35% decrease in cart abandonment.
  • Featured in Glossy for “Best Digital Storefronts of the Year.”
